RULES and REGULATIONS of the sun stays 'til tomorrow | |
GENERAL CONDUCT. respect. A rule we hope is present in every community, role-play or other, is being respectful. Treat others as you'd hope to be treated is the golden rule at The Sun Stays 'til Tomorrow! If we find that you are actively disrespecting other members of the role-play, you could be contacted to be spoken to, or find out if it was a miscommunication (because it does happen, believe us!). Regardless, we want every issue to come to a peaceful resolve at the end of the day. Everything can always be talked through. activity. We understand completely that role-playing is not an obligation, but a hobby! There's no need to feel guilty for missing an event or a few nights in a row for real life happenings, because we understand. Our platform is Discord and this forum! We encourage you to be active but of course, we can't control that-- this is a virtual role-play platform, not some critical life-and-death responsibility - even for our team and high positions! However, slots in TSS'TT are limited - we have a max capacity of 55 members at all times! If we feel like someone is falling behind or hasn't even spoken in the Discord for weeks or even a month, we'll approach you and see if you're okay, if you're doing well or just need the hiatus role because life's kicked up. character slots. Members are allowed three normal character slots when they first join the Discord. You have to wait for four weeks on a character "cool-down" period before you're are allowed to add a new character if you enter with three characters off the bat, and after every additional character after that. You have unlimited slots, technically, but know your limits! Your characters can be revoked if we see they're being neglected. in-character consequence. Much like the real world, in-character actions can warrant in-character consequences. For example, if you pick a fight IC, your character may get in some trouble, or get support! Every action has a reaction! We encourage you to stay true to your character-- who knows, you might be a major spearhead to a huge plot scene! plotting. Anybody and everybody is encouraged to plot up a miniplot for you and your friends to have fun with! This can be a romance, a rivalry, an event, and the like. We are quite lenient with what you can and can't do! Just make sure to adhere to any rules or regulations that affect you IC. Don't be afraid to ask to be involved in larger events-- we want you to be the spotlights! There's always a spot for you! other clans. This role-play only has the one Clan- that's SkyClan on the coast! The only thing we ask of you, the members, is to not include non-canonical Clans in your character's history, such as ReedClan, TideClan, et cetera. However, if your character hails from the original forest Clans, like ThunderClan or WindClan, speak to the TSSTT team and we can help you come up with an interesting reason for how your cat left the forest only to find the long-forgotten SkyClan! However, this should remain a rarity among the population. Though, no cat looks fondly back on the other giants - you wouldn't be anybody's first pick on patrol. realism. Our standards of realism extend as far as "if this colour cannot be found on a cat, it is not allowed." Everyone is free to exercise liberty over their character's design! Be practical with their abilities or lackthereof, and we encourage balanced personalities. additionally, unless your character is a former kittypet (please ask permission first!), they should not be a pure bred cat! Most if not all Clan cats are mixed breed, right? No one cares if you're a purebred Maine Coone, they like you for you. CHARACTER CONDUCT. romances. To some, developing a romance between your character and another is a huge milestone! Be sure to take your time in developing this relationship, and don't rush in! Love's a thing that, even to feral warrior cats, should be paced, as if it were a relationship in real time. to add onto this, expecting queens are allowed to have four kits per litter, to prevent an upsurge in young cats! The only limitation here, apart from the allotted number, is that we ask that the kits be able to all find mentors before they are ready to become apprentices. It is your OOC responsibility to find a mentor and inform the leader of the decision! |
