The Sun Stays 'til Tomorrow's community revolves around the Discord platform; it's where the most of our literature and role-play happens, after all! While we are not yet giving out the link to prospective members, as soon as your application is accepted, you'll be sent a link to join!

The rules of the forum apply very much the same as in the Discord. However, there are a few Discord-specific rules that you should know before joining our official Discord server.

the golden rule.
A rule that that I hope goes without saying is to be kind and respectful to one another! No insulting, aggressing, or overall flaming of any kind will be authorized in The Sun Stays ‘til Tomorrow! This extends on all of our platforms, whether it be Discord, on the forums, or on DeviantArt.

sensitive topics.
Try to abstain from bringing up “sensitive” discussion topics; the server doesn’t have a vent channel, you may or may not have noticed, which is because this community is small-scale and hopefully to become tight-knit, built on positivity and whatnot! It’s hard to stay positive with something like a heavy topic dragging you down, but DMs are a welcomed alternative if you really need to get something off your chest! One-on-one can be magical sometimes.


role-play canon.
All role-play on the Discord and the site are considered canon! However, role-plays taking place privately in DMs isn’t considered canon


other communities.
Refrain from bringing up other role-play communities! If not to prevent inadvertent advertisement, then to prevent feelings of discomfort in others who might not have the same feelings about a certain group. Keep your eyes on the sun! (But not in real life, that'll hurt.)

In time, our thoughts regarding keeping our Discord private only to accepted members may change! For now, however, we're opting to keep it under private wraps to avoid an influx of inactive or "hovering" community members! Thank you for understanding!
