Seashells:
The Sun Stays ‘Til Tomorrow has integrated a simple system in order to endorse engagement amidst the community in order to unlock benefits for your character(s). Through role-playing, writing literature, submitting art or other miscellaneous, you will be able to obtain seashells for your character. All seashells obtained through these can be used to help you purchase a character features for your character or a future character you plan on bringing in (ie: blind, past-rogue, abnormally large), purchasing a litter, and ranking up your character. Once you obtain seashells they apply to you solely, so it is your decision on what character you plan on investing your seashells into! Keep in mind once you’ve spent your seashells, that amount is retracted from your accumulated amount! Once you earn seashells, they are solely yours, no trading of seashells between members will be enabled.


Seashells & Ranking:
By earning seashells you are enabling your character to rank up realistically. Below is listed the required amount of seashells in order for your character to rank up. Keep in mind that the team will be keeping track of your character’s age and will inform you in advance of when your character is reaching their rank up, so you will be well prepared!

• Kitten to Apprentice: 50 seashells and evidence of light training, (ie. your kitten attempting to climb, or stalk in camp).
• Apprentice to Warrior: 100 seashells, including a written piece of your character’s warrior assessment.

There is a shop listed on both the dA and site! In order to spend your seashells please reply to the journal/thread with the following form:

Gaining Seashells through Literature/Roleplays:
This is our most encouraged way of efficiently and effectively acquiring seashells through general role-play in the server or privately, role-played events, or individual literature pertaining to your character.

• Literate: +1 seashell / 20 words
  - Reach 1000 words in a piece of literature / rp (combined or individual effort) = an additional 5 seashells bonus is given to each participant and so forth with 2000, 3000, etc.
• Complete Your Monthly Role-play Prompt: +150 seashells
  Complete the role-play prompt provided by Ella and the rest of the team with your role-play partner(s) within the assigned month! This is coupled with the points you earn from writing literature itself.
  

Gaining Seashells through In-Character Achievements:
Another effective way of acquiring seashells is through character development, which encourages engagement and dynamics amidst characters.

• Befriend five cats within SkyClan = + 30 seashells
• Become an apprentice = + 30 seashells
• Graduate into a warrior = + 60 seashells
• Successfully train an apprentice into a warrior = + 100 seashells
• Raise a litter of kits = + 10 seashells (per kit)
• Become a faithful mate = + 69 seashells
• Complete three training sessions with your mentor = + 15 seashells
• Assist an apprentice with some training advice = + 10 seashells
• Assist your Clan leader = + 5 seashells
• Assist your Clan medicine cat = + 5 seashells
• Assist your Clan deputy = + 5 seashells
• Assist your head fernclaw/leafclaw = + 5 seashells
• Defend SkyClan from a predator/adversary = + 35 seashells
• Gain your first scar = + 10 seahells
• Challenge someone in the Sandfern Arena = + 15 seashells

Gaining Seashells through Art:
While The Sun Stays ‘Til Tomorrow encourages artwork, we are more solely focused on plot development of your character through in-character engagements since not all of the community is as adept in the field of artwork; hence why literature garners a greater accumulation of seashells. However, we will still be looking to reward those who put the time and effort to create pieces of artwork of their character or others!

Headshots:

• Headshot Sketch = + 2 seashells
• Headshot Lineart = + 5 seashells
• Headshot Coloured = + 7 seashells
  - Shading = +2 seashells

Busts:

• Bust Sketch = + 3 seashells
• Bust Lineart = + 6 seashells
• Bust Coloured = + 9 seashells
  - Shading = +3 seashells

Full-body:

• Full-body Sketch = + 5 seashells
• Full-body Lineart = + 9 seashells
• Full-body Coloured = + 15 seashells
  - Shading = +7 seashells

Backgrounds:

• Simple Background/Flat Colour = + 1 seashell
• Complex Background = + 5 seashells
• Heavily Detailed Background = + 10 seashells

Colouring Bases:

• Hypothetical Kit Designs = + 5 seashells
• Character Design = + 3 seashells

Other:

• Draw a character that isn't your own = + 5 seashells
• Animation = + 4 seashells per each individual frame
• Pixel = + 4 seashells

Gaining Seashells through Of the Month Awards:
Whenever you get elected for an Of the Month award, regardless of what category, you automatically get 30 points added to your profile! You cannot win the same category in OTM awards twice in a row, but you can always win more than once if you stick around and make a name for yourself (or moreover, your characters) in the Discord role-play channels!



Gaining Seashells through Community Events:
Participating in Coriolanus Snow's weekly/biweekly Hunger Games tournaments, coming to a community movie or gaming night, and any other OOC activity you swing by to join (for any amount of time, even just five minutes!) -- you'll be able to earn seashells to use in the shop!

• Win the weekly/biweekly Hunger Games = + 5 seashells
  
• Participate in a community activity night = + 5 seashells
